Shoki the Demon Queller Sharpening His Sword
A hand-colored woodblock print shows a bearded, fierce-faced warrior in a dark cap and yellow-patterned robe, seated on a rock and drawing a long blade across a whetstone. Bold black outlines, yellow and green washes, and a dark, swirling mountain backdrop frame the figure against the pale paper.
