Dark bronze seated Buddha statue with flame-topped crown, right hand touching the ground, against a gray background.

Seated Buddha, Bronze Sculpture, 15th Century

A bronze seated Buddha sits in lotus position on a stepped base, right hand reaching down in the earth-touching gesture. The figure has a flame-topped ushnisha, tightly coiled curls, elongated earlobes, and a plain draped garment over the shoulders. The dark patinated surface shows subtle wear and a neutral gray backdrop frames the figure.
