Flight into Egypt: Mary, Joseph and the Infant Christ, etching

A seated Virgin Mary cradles the standing infant Christ, who rests a hand on her shoulder, while a bearded man leads a donkey on a path beneath a tree. Fine hatching in an etching shows rocky hills, drapery folds and a ruined structure at left, with Italian verses inscribed in the lower margin.
