Gilded bronze statuette of a young David in a short tunic holding a sword, standing over the severed head of Goliath on an oval base.

David with the Head of Goliath, gilt bronze statuette

A small gilded bronze statuette shows a youthful David standing in a short tunic and belt, one hand on his hip and the other gripping a long sword whose blade curves down beside him. At his feet lies a severed head on an oval base, and the figure's relaxed contrapposto pose gives the figure a quiet, composed presence.
