Betrayal of Christ, from The Engraved Passion
An engraving showing a crowded night scene of armed men seizing a bearded figure in a robe, while a man in the foreground lunges with a sword, and another swings a torch and spears rise behind. Dense hatching defines the cloth, faces and landscape. The signed monogram and date 1508 appear at lower left.
