Uma gravura mostra um frade barbudo ajoelhado, de capuz e cordão na cintura, com a cabeça inclinada para trás em êxtase. Dois anjos alados o amparam, um à direita inclinado sobre ele e outro à esquerda, enquanto um terceiro anjo toca violino sobre uma nuvem. No canto inferior esquerdo há um crânio e um livro aberto.
