Ink and color drawing of a woman in a patterned kimono seen from behind, hair pinned high, sleeves and hem flowing on a pale paper ground.

Walking figure of a courtesan

A woman in an elaborate kimono walks away from the viewer, her hair piled high with ornamental pins and her long sleeves and hem trailing. Ink lines and pale washes of blue, pink and ochre on paper render the patterned robe, its star-like shoulder motif and sleeve roundels.
