Triumphal Arch with Ferdinand of Austria and the Dutch Maiden, Allegorical Figures
An engraved triumphal arch-stage with a draped curtain opening onto a crowd of richly dressed figures gathered before a throne-like group. Two seated female allegorical figures flank a coat of arms crowned by a cardinal's hat, with putti and candelabra above. Statues of standing women frame the architecture, and cartouches with inscriptions decorate the base.
