Alchemical manuscript page with rainbow, serpent and vessels
A hand-painted manuscript page shows a rainbow arching over clouds, a pink serpent with a flaming head coiling across the ground, and a winged figure in red near a fire at upper right. Below, two glass vessels with colored liquids are drawn beside handwritten Latin captions, suggesting alchemical instruction.
