The Rescue of John Wesley

A dramatic black-and-white lithograph of a night fire: flames pour from a burning building at left as men on ladders and shoulders hoist a figure up toward the blaze's edge. Horses, a kneeling crowd, and a bright moon fill the scene, with the printed caption reading The Rescue of John Wesley.
