Engraving of a flood: a woman with a raised cloth and huddled figures by a tree, people in rising water, a boat-like ark in the distance, and a stormy sky with lightning.

The Flood: women sheltering by a tree as the deluge sweeps the land

An engraving shows a dark, stormy sky with lightning and a sun-like disc above, over a flooded landscape. In the foreground, a woman in a long cloak raises a cloth against the storm while others huddle, and people struggle in the water; a large ark-like structure stands on the distant shore. Engraved lines and a Latin-style caption appear along the bottom margin.
