The Council in Hell: Fallen Angels Decide to Continue the Battle Against God
An engraved scene of a vast infernal assembly under a burst of fireworks-like light, with a seated, crowned figure on a raised dais surrounded by winged figures and crowds in tiers. Architectural arches and columns frame the sky, and a small figure with a halo-like glow sits at the upper right. Fine parallel hatching gives the print its tonal depth.
