The Antechamber of the Palais de Justice, Paris
A finely etched interior view of a vast Gothic hall with two long barrel vaults covered in fine hatching, receding in strong perspective. Along the walls, arched bays and niches hold statues, and a crowd of small figures gathers across the stone floor at the lower edge.
