Terpsichore, Plate Thirteen from Apollo and the Muses
A long-haired woman in a flowing gown and gathered sleeves holds a small lute or lyre at her waist, standing barefoot on grass before a wavy landscape with a distant town. A sphere rests at her feet, and an inscription label reads TERPSICORE XIII along the bottom border. The fine parallel hatching is an engraving.
