Skeleton seen from behind beside a rhinoceros, engraved plate
An engraved anatomical plate shows a human skeleton seen from behind, one arm raised and one extended, standing before a large rhinoceros in a stone-walled setting. Fine hatched lines model the bones and the animal's heavy folded hide; the plate is numbered "TAB VIII" at upper left.
