Color woodblock print of three women on a wooden platform by a river, with rooftops and boats in the pale background.

Summer Twilight on the Banks of the Sumida River

A color woodblock print showing three women on a wooden platform beside a river, one holding a round fan and another seated in a dark patterned kimono. Rooftops and a distant shoreline with boats fill the background under a pale sky. The muted palette and flat composition reflect the ukiyo-e print tradition.
