Seated Buddha Vairocana, gilt bronze

A small gilt bronze figure of a seated Buddha sits in lotus position on a green-patinated base. The Buddha's hands are raised at the chest in a teaching gesture, and his robe drapes over the shoulders and lap, with a fine hair-like curl and topknot visible. The smooth golden surface is set against a plain gray background.
