Seated Buddha, probably Shakyamuni, gilt bronze

A small gilt bronze figure of a seated Buddha with hair in tight curls and a flaming halo behind his head. He sits cross-legged on a tiered pedestal, hands resting in his lap, his robes falling in folds over the base. The rear of the gilding is worn and dark in places.
