Two oval engravings of biblical scenes: men receiving grain at a building on the left, and a man in a cape before a seated turbaned ruler on the right.

Scenes from the Life of Joseph: Brothers Buying Grain and Joseph before Pharaoh

Two oval engravings sit side by side, each with a Dutch caption and a Genesis verse reference. The left scene shows bearded men in period dress at a doorway as a figure fills a basin with grain while a tall plumed figure looks on. The right scene shows a standing man in a short cape before a turbaned, seated ruler under an arch, with attendants watching from behind a balustrade.
