Saint Cosmas (or Damian)

A half-length figure in a red tunic over blue sleeves trimmed with white fur, wearing a dark brown cap, raises two fingers of one hand while holding a closed book with a brown cover against a dark background. The painted panel shows a three-quarter view with careful modeling of the face, hands and fabric folds.
