Saint Anthony Abbot, carved walnut sculpture
A carved wooden statue shows a bearded old man in a hooded cloak and tall hat, standing on a rocky base beside a small crouching creature at his feet. His hands hold a staff and a folded garment, and the drapery falls in deep, sweeping folds. The walnut surface is warm brown with traces of tool marks.
