Prometheus chained to the Caucasus rocks, eagle attacking, 1566 engraving

An engraving shows a muscular, bearded man chained by the wrists to a rocky outcrop, his torso twisted as a large eagle with spread wings tears at his belly. A draped cloth falls across his legs, and a coiled snake lies among the rocks at lower left, under dense hatched lines and clouds.
