Osiris Shroud

A painted linen funerary shroud showing a central frontal figure wearing a tall crown with plumes, holding crook and flail, framed by vertical bands of hieroglyphs. Side panels show winged figures, a jackal-headed figure, and smaller ritual scenes in red, ochre and black, with much of the paint worn away.

Look closer: A small jackal-headed figure stands at the lower left, partly hidden by dark staining.
