Facsimile painting of the god Osiris enthroned beside a goddess in Egyptian style, with hieroglyphs and blue-and-gold.

Osiris and the Goddess of the West

A painted facsimile shows the mummiform god Osiris seated on a low throne at center right, wearing a tall blue crown with plumes, facing a goddess in a dark dress and headdress at right. Hieroglyphic columns, eye motifs, and a patterned frieze fill a warm ochre field above, and a gray mound with small kneeling figures sits at lower left.

Look closer: Small kneeling figures in white and red sit at the lower left, partly hidden by the gray mound.
