Headless marble statuette of a draped figure with heavy folded robes and one bent arm, on a dark stand.

Marble statuette of a seated philosopher

A headless marble torso of a figure wrapped in heavy, deeply folded drapery, with one arm bent at the elbow. The warm, weathered stone shows soft light on the folds against a dark studio background, set on a dark stone plinth.

Look closer: A chipped break at the right shoulder, where the head was lost.
