The Annunciation from Life of the Virgin, woodcut

A black-and-white woodcut of the Annunciation shows a winged angel with outspread feathered wings entering a stone-arched interior from the left, while a seated Mary, at right beside a canopied bed, faces him. A dove with radiating light descends above her, and a small monogram appears at lower right in the finely hatched print.
