Lantern Globe: Black Porcelain Vase with Plum Blossoms and Birds
A globular porcelain vase with a dark, glossy black ground, decorated with white plum blossoms on branching sprays and two dark birds perched together on a bough. The rounded body narrows toward a short mouth above a plain foot, and the enamel design shows crisply against the black.
