Interior Scene with Sultan and Concubine

An oil painting of a richly dressed man reclining across a leopard-skin covered couch, his head resting in the lap of a pale-robed woman with a gold-trimmed headdress. A dim, shadowed interior with heavy drapery and a standing figure at right frames the intimate scene in warm gold, pink and green tones.
