Gathering of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, Northern Qi limestone relief
A long limestone relief shows rows of seated Buddhas and bodhisattvas beneath lotus-shaped bases, with haloed figures arranged in tiers across the slab. A central seated Buddha with a large halo sits above smaller attendant figures, and traces of pigment remain on the stone. The carving is worn and grey-brown, with a flattened, densely packed composition.
