Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries

A pen-and-ink drawing shows several flat-bottomed fishing boats with tall masts and slanting spars pulled up on a stippled sandy beach. The nearest boat, marked with lettering on its hull, dominates the lower foreground, while a tidal channel and birds in the pale sky open the right and upper areas.
