Emperor Freeing the Slave Androcles

An engraving in black ink shows a crowd of armored soldiers on horseback and on foot in a narrow street between a round brick tower and a large stone building. A bare-chested man at the center is surrounded by the crowd, and a small animal appears near the lower left, consistent with the record's scene of Androcles.
