Standing Buddha Offering Protection, Copper Alloy Sculpture
A gilt copper alloy statue shows a standing Buddha with his right hand raised, palm outward, in the gesture of protection, and his left hand lowered holding the edge of a flowing robe. Fine incised lines form folds across the body, and the head has a blue-tinted topknot, on a dark square base.
