Buddha of Medicine Bhaishajyaguru (Yaoshi fo), ca. 1319
A large mural filling a gallery wall shows a central seated Buddha in a haloed mandorla, flanked by standing bodhisattvas and attendant figures in muted green, red and ochre tones. Two wooden benches sit before the wall, and the painted surface shows wear and losses across its lower and outer areas.
