Grey stone sculpture of a standing Buddha in a flowing robe, with a carved halo behind and a small relief pedestal below, displayed against a dark background.

Standing Buddha, Gandhara, Schist Sculpture

A grey schist sculpture of a standing Buddha wearing a draped monastic robe with deep, rhythmic folds that fall to the feet. A halo-like backplate rises behind the head, and the figure rests on a carved pedestal with small seated figures. The worn surface shows the stone's natural texture.
