Brocade silk Buddhist monk's robe (kesa), patched
A rectangular silk brocade panel in brown, gold and blue-grey, patterned with small scattered motifs and divided into a grid of stitched rectangular pieces. Several square patches in red-brown and pale tones interrupt the surface, consistent with a repaired monk's kesa.
