Engraving of robed men in a classical hall studying antique statues, a skeleton figure, and a perspective diagram on an easel, with floating figures above.

Academy of artists discussing study of antiquity, anatomy and perspective, after Maratta

An engraved academy scene in which robed men gather in a classical hall beneath statues of antique figures. A kneeling draftsman sketches at the lower left, while a standing figure gestures toward a skeleton-like nude and a large perspective diagram on an easel at right. Clouds and figures float above, and an inscription runs along the bottom edge.
