Male Nude as Hercules with Nessus's Robe, Pen and Ink Drawing

A muscular male nude is drawn in pen and brown ink on pale paper, twisting his torso as he lifts a flowing, billowing cloth overhead. His legs are braced apart on a stepped stone base, with additional studies of limbs sketched at the left. Hatched shading models the musculature and the cloth.
