Ink wash painting of a dark horse in mid-gallop on pale paper, forelegs lifted, mane and tail blurred by quick brushwork.

A Running Horse

A dark ink horse leaps across a pale, warm-toned sheet, its forelegs raised and hind legs stretched behind. Wash shading models the body, while the mane and tail dissolve into loose, dry brushstrokes that suggest motion.
