Un fraile barbado con aureola se arrodilla en un paisaje rocoso bajo un árbol, con los brazos abiertos hacia un serafín alado que desciende de las nubes. Dos ángeles lo acompañan, y en la parte inferior izquierda yace un cráneo. Las líneas grabadas finas y el rayado cruzado modelan los hábitos y el cielo.
