Engraving of an allegorical triumphal procession with a chariot, soldiers, winged figures and Latin text in the margins.

Allegory of the Triumph of the Netherlands over Spain

An engraving of an allegorical procession: a large ornate chariot drawn by horses moves across the foreground past robed figures and armored soldiers, while winged figures with trumpets and a pair of cherubs fly above. Dense Latin inscriptions and a decorative cartouche fill the upper and lower margins, and a tented camp and distant city appear on the right.
